J-Sol is a multi-talent, vocalist, songwriter, actor, dancer and producer who has bridged the gap between R&B, Pop and Hip-Hop.
J-Sol, son of a preacher (Samson) grew up in church surrounded by music playing the drums every Sunday, eventually leading him to singing in the choir alongside his siblings. A native Londoner with a Nigerian heritage J-Sol started singing and dancing at the age of seven and began writings songs at the age of 14.
2012 saw J-Sol release his debut single ‘Alien’ featuring Cashtastic. Though it failed to chart it went on to opening several doors and opportunities for him such as supporting Little Mix at the Olympic Stadium, Bobby Valentino, Omarion, Boyz II Men and Jeremih.
J-Sol has since released independent EP titled ‘Genesis’ (the beginning) which peaked at #10 on the iTunes R&B chart for two weeks. Genesis included features from Geko, Sneakbo, Dondria, Paigey Cakey, Cashtastic and Jade Ellis. J-Sol has surpassed 3 million streams on Spotify. As well as releasing original music, J-Sol has also been recognised for covering songs and in printing his on stamp on it.
J-Sol is currently working on his second project which is set to be released in January 2018.
